Wedding Church Decorations - Decorating The Wedding Church

Wedding church decorations are very traditional form of wedding decorations and should be unique so that the guests remember it for lifetime. Traditional church wedding decoration is mostly based on adding lace, pearls, crystals, beads, candles, fresh flowers and dry flowers to enhance the purity of the place. However it should be remembered that the church is a place of worship and the sanctity and purity of the atmosphere should not be disturbed.

Church wedding designs include wedding church pew decorations, aisle decorations, centerpiece decorations, and altar decorations church entry decorations, church door decorations, and church ceiling decorations.

Decorating a church with flowers adds a sense of peace, solemnity, calm, and freshness all around. A simple and a beautiful decoration are possible with garden flowers such as daisies, tulips, and carnations. For exotic touch, decorate the aisle using orchids or lilies.

It is a great idea to decorate the altar or the aisle with matching color of the bride's bouquet as part of the wedding church decoration. Vibrant wreaths can be arranged to make a simple door more attractive and inviting. Fabric flowers or silk flowers can be used if the arrangements are done ahead of time, as they will not wilt. Even a combination of ribbons, balloons and flowers will work wonders.

Potted plants are a simple and inexpensive form of decoration that adds a great deal of volume and warmth. Even a lining up of potted plants with large flowers along the aisle will give a richer look and adds up greenery.

Pew decorations play a very important role in wedding church decoration and considered as one of the best way to make a great impact on the ceremony decor. Bouquets, tulles, and bows tied up at the end of pews go nicely with some rose petals spread down the aisle.

A high ceiling church can easily filled with an exciting spirit by a few well-planned balloon arrangements. In addition streamers, flower garland, or large bows can be tied to the doors to give that extra look. To add a special touch, place two tall topiaries by the entrance of the church.

In wedding church decoration, pomander balls make an attractive addition to any entryway, foyer, arch or chandelier. Even a mix and match of Christmas tree ornaments can be used in various styles to improve the decoration.

Keep in mind, the wedding church decoration should be elegant yet inexpensive, attractive but without spoiling the purity of the place.

Winter Wonderland Wedding Tables

If you live in the northern climates of the US, there's not much you can do about planning the weather for your winter wedding, but you can plan a winter wonderland wedding reception.

Decorating Your Reception Tables

Tree Blue

Begin by laying down the perfect base. Sprinkle snowflake confetti on each of the tables. To make the confetti pop and stand out on a white tablecloth, be sure to purchase iridescent snowflake confetti. Mix and match sizes and colors for variety.
Once the confetti is down, decide on your centerpieces. Here are some great ideas:

12 " Ice Sculptures - Use the traditional swan, a poinsettia, snowman, large snow flake or a bride and groom replica

Wicker Tree - Go to you local craft store to find this item. Decorate the tree with lights, and for an extra personal touch, leave blank note cards & pre-cut ribbon for your guests to write their well wishes on, and then tie to the tree.

12" Miniature Doe/fawn - We recommend finding ones made of twigs or branches. Also decorate these with lights.

Candles - Purchase white round or square pillar candles (mix and match the heights and sizes) and tall glass candle holders. Decorate the outside of the candle holder by first drawing patterns on the outside of the glass with a glue stick. Then sprinkle the holder in glitter (we recommend any combination of white, silver and blue glitter). After placing the candle in the holder, decorate the bottom of the holder by adding pine cones (also decorated with glitter), Holly or any other winter related decorations.

Mystic Crystals - Use a large wide mouthed bowl as the centerpiece. In it, place mystic crystals to mimic the effect of snow. On top of the crystals, place small white votive candles.

Other Ideas

Encircle your centerpieces with a short string of white lights.

Use snow globes as favors, or simply to decorate the table.

Give white and blue coated candies as favors. Package them in a silver tin, topped off with a white or blue personalized satin ribbon.

And don't forget to accessorize the rest of your wedding with your Winter Wonderland Theme!

Trees Make a Big Impact in Wedding Decor

Are you looking to take your wedding décor from merely fine to totally fabulous? To take your wedding beyond the ordinary, you will need elements that really have a big impact. Almost nothing is larger than trees, and they can make a terrific splash in your wedding design.

Even a small tree can make a big difference in the feeling of a space. Think about your wedding venue for a moment. Does it have any blank corners or areas that feel a little boring? Now imagine that same area with a potted tree decorated with twinkling white lights. You have instantly transformed a negative into a positive and made your space much more festive.

Tree Blue

Using trees to fill in dead corners is only one way that they can add style to your wedding. If you want to make a dramatic change, think large. One of the most spectacular ways to spice up your décor with trees is to use them en masse. The effect is especially impressive when the trees are brought into an indoor space.

Every bride wants the moment when she walks down the aisle to be unforgettable. Start by making the aisle itself memorable. Rather than a plain walkway between rows of chairs, picture walking through a canopy of tree branches. The effect of lining the aisle with trees is absolutely breathtaking. To make the most of it, really go all out by using lighting and decorations on the trees.

For instance, a bride who is having a Winter Wonderland theme can use bare trees without any leaves. Soft blue uplighting will give the trees that icy look that so suits the theme. If you would like even more drama, think about complementing your bridal attire and wedding jewelry by stringing strands of crystal in the branches. When done tastefully, downy white feathers can also be a beautiful addition. You will look like a Czarina as you float down the aisle under your tree canopy with your fabulous wedding gown and crystal jewelry.

Trees can also be used to totally transform your reception site. One of the prettiest weddings that I ever saw was one done in an Enchanted Forest theme. The wedding planner brought in one large tree to use in the center of the dining room. Along with the flowers and the rest of the decorations, the presence of the large tree really brought the bride and groom's theme to life.

Of course, trees are always stunning in their natural setting, as well. The branches and leaves of a magnificent old oak tree could provide the perfect site for a simple ceremony. In the springtime, a row of flowering trees could provide all of the decoration that your ceremony needs. Search your area for the fields and gardens with the most spectacular trees when you are looking for your wedding location.

Even if you do not get married under a canopy of tree branches, you can still take advantage of trees as a backdrop for some stunning photographs. Even if your reception will take place indoors, it is wonderful to have a few portraits done outside, and the graceful beauty of the local foliage will make your photos even better. With so many ways to use trees in your wedding, there is sure to be a way that is perfect for you.
